EURid Registrar Advisory Board Established
“EURid welcomes the input that our new advisory board will provide,” said Marc Van Wesemael, EURid’s General Manager. “Each representative brings experience and perspective that will be valuable to the future development of .eu as registrations grow to three million and beyond.” Members of the Registrar Advisory Board are drawn from registrars located in Denmark (Peter Larsen of Larsen Data), France (Edouard Vanbelle of OVH), Germany (Markus Eggensperger of United-domains AG), Hungary (Peter Koleszar of EU Domain), Luxemburg (Jean-Christophe Vignes of EuroDNS S.A.), Romania (Bogdan Surdu of Extreme Solutions SRL), Spain (María García Ruesgas of Arsys Internet), the United Kingdom (Ashley Roberts of Com Laude) and the United States (Stephen Miholovic of Network Solutions).
Registrars are appointed to the Registrar Advisory Board based on a variety of factors, including the volume of domain names managed and their geographical distribution.
