We recently reported that the .PL ccTLD had reached one million registrations but actually we were informed by our friends at www.dnz.pl, a Polish blog about domain names, that as of May 9th only 671,367 .pl domain names had been registered. You can visit this site for the current count.

The 1 million claim was made up of those 670,000 .pl domain registrations and the rest are just subdomain registrations in zones like ".com.pl", "edu.pl", "warszawa.pl", "nieruchomosci.pl". So we'll have to wait for the real 1 million a little longer...
