With changes to the .au ccTLD policy that now allow for transfers of domain names and subsequently trading in domain names, Netfleet.com.au have commenced an online domain trading site for auctions and sales of .au domain names.

Currently up for grabs are the domain names mail.com.au (an asking price of A$1 million), parramatta.com.au (a suburb of Sydney) and fy.com.au. There are currently over 3,100 domain names listed on Netfleet.com.au for a combination of auction and sale.

To date the site notes two sales - photographers.com.au for $5,000 and floranet.com.au for $400.

Of course, any successful bidders for .au domain names have to abide by the eligibility rules for the .au namespace. Details of all auDA policies can be found at www.auda.org.au/policies/current-policies.
