Hitwise announced few days ago that Facebook was named the most visited website of 2010 .This is the first time Facebook surpassed Google .
Years in a row,Google was named the most visited website .However this year,Google ranked second with 7.2 percent of all visits,while Facebook ranked first with 8.9 percent of all visits.
The social network grabbed not only the first position for the most visited website in the United States of 2010 but also the first and second position for the top search terms . Therefore, Facebook and Facebook Login grabbed the first and the second position for the top search terms of 2010 .
