EURid will host a seminar on Wednesday, 7 April, to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the .eu top-level domain.
The seminar, aimed at the media and other interested parties who want to learn about .eu and its registry, will be held at InfEuropa on Rond-Point Schuman. EURid CEO Marc Van Wesemael and External Relations Manager Giovanni Seppia will be available for interviews and to answer questions.
EURid will present facts and statistics about the .eu top-level domain as well as its vision for the future. The impact of the economic downturn on the growth of the European web domain will also be addressed.
“The rapid growth across Europe shows how proud we are to be European and how important it is for many to show their European identity, even on the Internet,” said EURid’s General Manager, Marc Van Wesemael.
