EURID,the company responsible for the administration of .EU extension,is approaching 3.5 million domain name registrations under .EU .
Eurid revealed continued growth in .eu domain name registrations in the first quarter of 2011 .Healthy .eu registrations in Bulgaria, Estonia and Romania helped drive year over year growth, supported by renewal rates above the industry average, at 78%.Eurid remained this year one of the top-ten largest TLDs in the world .
Up to date there are 3,399,333 .eu domain names registered .
