EURid, the .eu top-level domain registry, will be present at the Ecommretail trade fair in Barcelona, Spain from 2-3 March 2011 to continue to raise the visibility of .eu domain names in the Spanish market.
In Spain, .eu domain name registrations grew by over 10% during 2010 and there are currently more than 86 000 .eu domain names registered to Spanish businesses, organisations and individuals. The .eu extension is ideally suited for businesses with cross-border operations by enabling companies to express the fact that they are open for business in other European Union markets.
EURid is attending the Ecommretail Show for the second consecutive year and during this year's event, will be conducting a .eu awareness survey at stand 48.
