eNom, owned by Demand Media™, announced that it will be the first major wholesale registrar to offer the goMobi service to its resellers. The service enables existing small business website owners to easily get their business on the mobile web by taking the core elements of the business’ existing website – logo, contact us, map, coupons – and rendering that information neatly on any cell phone or smart phone.
The goMobi service will be available to eNom resellers at just $4.99 per month, as of today.
goMobi was launched in June 2010 by dotMobi, the .mobi domain registry. It enables users to produce compelling mobile content in minutes, and then build business with mobile-friendly features like reservations and coupons as well as improve mobile web search rankings with keywords and search engine optimization options. goMobi makes building a mobile friendly site and reaching the increasing number of consumers that use mobile devices to browse the web, quicker and easier than ever before. In addition, the goMobi service will also let business owners promote their social media destinations such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
"The goMobi service is a perfect match for eNom’s network of resellers; easy enough for use by small business customers, yet sophisticated enough to be used by web designers creating mobile sites for the biggest of brands," said Chris Sheridan, vice president of sales for eNom. "We’re excited to work closely with dotMobi to offer this service and to assist domain name owners in building a successful presence on the mobile web."
"By partnering with eNom, one of the largest and most respected wholesale registrars in the domain industry, we hope to introduce the goMobi service to a huge range of web entrepreneurs, and provide them with a quick and easy-to-use service which helps them take advantage of all the mobile web can offer," added Trey Harvin, CEO, dotMobi.
