DOMAINfest Global 2012 Conference is less than eight weeks away .The conference will be held in Santa Monica,California from January 31,2012 to February 2,2011 at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel .
For the 2012 show,DOMAINfest organizers are introducing a new contest - the Fantasi Domaining Contest .You will have to show everybody how good your PPC domaining skills are .The winner will receive a travel stipend of $1,000 plus four nights hotel plus free DOMAINfest admission .The second place will receive free DFG Conference Ticket and the thrid place will receive 50%off DFG Conference Ticket.
Here are the steps you need to follow in order to participate :
1 . Sign-up. It's Free! Limit one entry per person. The Contest begins on December 1, 2011, and ends on January 16, 2012. But don't worry if you sign-up well after the start date because the ranking of your selected domain portfolio uses cumulative PPC revenue backdated to the Contest's start date.
2. Draft/select a portfolio of 35 domains from a master list of 1000 owned by Oversee.net. The master list can be downloaded if you prefer to take some time to analyze the domains, or simply use our online search filters to find domains with desired keywords or categories. Choose domains that you think produced the most PPC revenue last year between Dec 1, 2010 and January 16, 2011.
3. Select 25 of your 35 domains to put on your "In-Play" game roster. This roster's cumulative 12/1/10 to current-date-last-year PPC revenue determines your overall ranking. The 10 remaining names will be placed in your "Bullpen". Login daily to see the updated PPC Performance Index for each domain on your "In-Play" roster, then decide whether to substitute a low performer with one of the domains in your "Bullpen".
4. Not happy with the PPC Performance Index on one of the domains in your bullpen? No problem. You have the option of swapping any domain in your portfolio with one of the available domains in the master list of 1000. But only 10 swaps are allowed, so choose your domains wisely.
5. Out of swaps? Or is the domain you wanted on the master list of 1000 no longer available (note: only 10 contestants can hold a given domain) Then trade for it using our online Make Offer system. When you make an offer for a domain, we send an offer alert to the login dashboard of all contestants who have that domain in their portfolio. However, you only get 5 Make Offer trades regardless of whether they were accepted or cancelled. So make each offer/trade count.
6. Each day we will post the usernames of the Top 10 contestants , showing their Power Index, which gives an indication of how far ahead Contestant #1 is from the other Top 10. If your name is not in the Top 10, login to find out your ranking and then make some roster changes through swaps or trades to improve your results.
7. Contest ends January 16, 2012. The first, second and third place winners will be notified on January 17, 2012 so that they can make plans to cash in on their DOMAINfest Global awards.
