Domain Madness announced that they will rerun the auction next week because the CPU was just not big enough to handle 1,734 simultaneous users .
With a max of 200-300 users for previous auctions,Domain Madness organizers thought that setting the max DBS connections to 1,000 will be enough.However,they said that the volume began to grow and maxed out at 1,734 simultaneous users ,as the clock approached 4 pm CT .This was a big problem for Domain Madness users,crushing the CPU way beyond it's max .
Even though they tried many fixes to get it up,Domain Madness organizers decided to rerun the auction next week.
