Montreal’s SPCA seems to have discovered the domain name was used by SPCA International having no rights over the domain.
Moreover,it seems that the one who uses and owns the domain name is their former director, Pierre Barnoti.
Montreal’s SPCA contends that SPCA International was created after a project has been discusses at a bord meeting in 2006.
In his defend Pierre Barnoti says that the domain name is his property,being registered under his name and that he has full rights over the domain name.
The local SPCA contends that the disputed domain name is their property . They said the domain name "was taken from us illegally, improperly, and should be returned as an important asset of the organization, used by it for 10 years ".
