Amazon is going to announce today that it has acquired Quidsi.Quidsi is the company behind the e-commerce websites Diapers.com,Soap.com and BeautyBar.com.Amazon acquired Quidsi for $540 million in cash.
According to Dan Primack,from Fortune ,this is not the first time Amazon tried to buy the company.Moreover,it seems that Quidsi had another offer from Wal Mart .
This is Amazon's second largets acquisition so far.The largest one is the acquisition of Zappos,when Amazon spent about $900 million.
