A pair of .DE domain names, including the largest internationalised
domain name (IDN) sale, topped the sales charts in the countdown to
Christmas on Domain Name Journal’s charts of reported sales.
The domains, gartenmöbel.de and gartenmoebel.de (garden furniture in
German), were sold for €150,000 ($214,500) each by DomainInvest.lu.
In the previous week Barns.com sold for $175,000 while another .DE IDN
sale, Büromöbel.de (office furniture in German) came second selling for
€69,000 ($100,750) through Sedo.
