Consolidation.com domain name,sold for $220,000 through the Sedo domain name marketplace topps Domain Name Journal weekly sales list of reported domain name sales in the week to May 1, 2011.
Sedo claimed the chart topped selling Consolidation.com for $220,000 .
There were three six-figure domain name sales for the week ( Consolidation.com ,sold for $220,000 , DearSales.com ,sold for $123,333 and MAI.com ,sold for $119,200 ) ,with Melrose.com and Xout.com coming fourth and fifth ,selling for $75,000 (Sedo) and $55,000 (Sedo) respectively .
Sedo had a good week in the sales chart ,taking 8 of the top ten position and 14 of the top 20 position .
Correspondingly,Moniker/SnapNames did not take out so many positions,with only one of the top 20 positions.
.COM domain names dominated the list with 19 of the 20 positions .The only non .com domain name was Tada.de,sold through Sedo for 11,000 EUR .
