The .CO Registry announced on Twitter that the .CO ccTLD has reached the 600,000 registration mark within months of its public launch.
The half million registration mark occurred on 15 September.Therefore,more than 100,000 .CO domain names were registered in two months.
Once more,.CO shows what a good marketing and public relations campaign and a good idea can do.
The .co Registry is planning to auction single-letter and other premium domain names in the coming months.The registry already announced an upcoming private auction for I.CO at the Web 2.0 Summit .
