.CM Sunrise period opens today,June 15th at 9:00 UTC.This period allows all trademark owners to register their brand name in the .CM extension .

.CM is the country top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Republic of Cameroon.This is a new opportunity for the trademark owners,being able to register their brand names in .CM extension.During the Sunrise period the minimum registration period is 2 years and everyone must have a valid trademark at the time of appication.Moreover,if there is more than one person to apply for the same domain name ,both having a valid trademark,the name will be given to the one who has the oldest registered trademark.
As for the costs,each domain application costs 360 EUR .
Then,on July 15th the registry will open the Landrush period.The price for each domain name application will be 260 EUR including a two years term.
