They have also employed more than 100,000 people by the end of 2008, reports Sina quoting statistics released by China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) on June 4. China had more than 16.8 million domain names by the end of last year, including 13.57 million registered .cn domain names, up 41% and 61% year-on-year, respectively.
