Burberry,the British luxury fashion house,has filed a complaint with World Intellectual Property Organization to get the domain name BurberryWorld.com.
Whois records show that the domain name was registered to a man named Carlos Lim.
The Brisith luxury fashion house owns many trademark registrations for the "Burberry" mark all over the world.Therefore,it is more than obvious that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark .
Burberry will also have to prove that the respondent registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith,in order to obtain the domain name .
A decision will be made within a couple of weeks .
