
BoardGames.com headed a quartet of six-figure domain name sales in the
week to 20 June according to Domain Name Journal’s list of top reported
sales. The domain name was sold for $450,000 in an auction by Moniker at
DOMAINfest Ft. Lauderdale. The remaining three six-figure sales were
all sold by Sedo 027.com, Pengyou.com and Pengyou,net all selling for
$100,000.
Overall Sedo accounted for 13 of the top 20 sales. And the top ccTLD
sale of the week was TVS.co.uk which sold for £51,000 (~$75,990). A
topical sale was WebcamRoulette.com, no doubt influenced by Chat
Roulette, selling for $47,500.
