The auction platform Bido is back .Bido made some changes and improvements ,rebuilding the auction architecture and moving into a new server space.
However,the staff and the fron end has stayed the same.
Another change that will be quite important is that they replaced the 1 hour auctions with auctions that will run for a longer duration of time .
Here is the announcement :
"After a few months of being away, Bido is back in business. We took some time off in order to do some transition and we return with more enthusiasm to provide the community with a social auction platform and present auctions with items that are in demand.
Most of the Bido you have come to know over the years remains the same. There are some small changes we implemented already and over time, there will be more noticeable changes as we work to find the best balance for the community. What has changed this time around? We’re going to do some experimentation and instead of running 1 hour auctions as we did in the past, the auctions will run for a longer duration of time. At first, you’ll see auctions that last 4 days and we’ll evaluate the feedback and results after some time. We’re also going to be starting and ending the auctions between the hours of 3pm to 4pm Eastern.
