Baylor University wins Baylor.com domain name in arbitration

The National Arbitration Forum announced that a ruling has been issued  in favor of Baylor University regarding rights to the internet domain name Baylor.org . Baylor University submitted a complaint to the National Arbitration Forum,asserting legal rights to the disputed domain name .
Baylor University owns many trademark registration for the "Baylor" mark. Therefore,they contended that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark.Moreover,they contended that the respondent registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith .
"Respondent’s use of the disputed domain name to display third-party links to competing educational institutions results in Respondent’s commercial gain through its use of pay-per-click links. "
"Respondent is attempting to sell the disputed domain name to the general public."
The Panel ordered the disputed domain name be transferred from the respondent to the complainant.
