auDA celebrated on June 2,2011 25 years of the .au ccTld .auDA organized an event held at Melbourne Museum in Melbourne in the celebration of this milestone.
This year,auDA celebrated another milestone with the registration of two million .au domain names .
These two milestones follows strong growth registrations ,placing .au in the top ten largest ccTLD in the world .

That’s why more and more people and companies are gravitating towards .au names that allow us to shop, live, work and play online with confidence,” said auDA Chief Executive Chriss Disspain at the gala event held at Melbourne Museum in Melbourne .
There are currently about 2,090,000 registered .au domain names .
