The National Arbitration Forum announced that a ruling has been issued in favor of AT&T ,regarding rights to the Internet domain name WirelessATT.com .
AT&T submitted a complaint to the National Arbitration Forum,asserting legal rights over the disputed domain name .
The company owns many trademark registrations for the "AT&T" mark .Therefore,they contended that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark.Moreover,they contended that the respondent registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith .
"Respondent’s <wirelessatt.com> domain name resolves to a website that provides hyperlinks for Complainant’s competitors in the wireless telecommunications industry. "
"Respondent registered and uses a domain name that is confusingly similar to Complainant’s AT&T mark in order to profit from click-through fees."
The Panel ordered the disputed domain name be transferred from the respondent to the complainant
