Arbitrator hands GreenYahoo.com to Yahoo

The National Arbitration Forum announced that a ruling has been issued in favor of Yahoo, regarding rights to the Internet domain name GreenYahoo.com .
Yahoo submitted a complaint to the National Arbitration Forum a while ago ,claiming rights over the disputed domain name.
Yahoo owns numerous trademark registrations with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its Yahoo! mark. Therefore,Yahoo contended that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark. Moreover,Yahoo contended that the respondent registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith :
"Respondent initially used the disputed domain name to resolve to a page which looked similar to Complainant’s <green.yahoo.com> site, but offered links to both Complainant and Complainant’s competitors.  Respondent likely profited from the display of these third-party links on a click-through basis.  Respondent’s commercial gain was likely increased through the confusion he created by registering a domain name confusingly similar to Complainant’s famous mark. "
The Panel ordered the disputed domain name be transferred from the respondent to the complainant .
