An arbitrator with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center awarded iPods.com domain name to Apple .
Apple filed a complaint with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center at the end of May,asserting legal rights over the disputed domain name.
The company owns the trademark registration for the "iPod" mark.Therefore,it is more than obvious that the domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark.However,full details of the rulling in case has not been posted yet .
Apple acquired recently about 50 domain names related to OS X Lion and iCloud,such as appleairplaymirroring.com,appledocumentsinthecloud.com and applegestures .
The company is trying to gets hands on many other Apple-related domain names lately .They managed to taken possesion of two other iPhone -related domain names:iPhone4.com and WhiteiPhone.com .
