AOL wins domain name case covering thirteen domain names

AOL ,the American global Internet services and media company, has recently won thirteen domain names in Arbitration. AOL submitted a complaint to the National Arbitration Forum requesting all the domain names to be transferred from the respondent to the complainant.
The thirteen domain names are : aolinstintmessenger.com,aimexpresss.com,aimdools.com,icq7.net,mapqueust.com,mapquesp.com,mapquese.com,mapquesti.com,movieefone.com,netscaape.net,netscaspe.net,netsccape.net, nesscape.com .
The company owns trademark registrations for the "AOL,AIM,ICQ,MAPQUEST,MOVIEFONE,NETSCAPE" marks, registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Therefor, they contended in the complaint that the disputed domain names are confusingly similar to its trademark. Moreover, they contended that the respondent registered and used all the domain names in bad faith.
"Respondent’s use of the disputed domain names to redirect Internet users to websites that list links to third-party websites, including links to Complainant’s competitors, disrupts Complainant’s business and constitutes registration and use in bad faith."
Because the respondent filed to submit a response in this proceeding and because the complainant managed to demonstrate all the elements needed, the Panel ordered all the thirteen domain name be transferred from the respondent to the complainant.
