Amazon has recently acquired KindleIce.com domain name and other Kindle Fire-related domain names .The company announced the Kindle Fire on September 28,2011 .However,Amazon wasn't fast enough to register these domain names .
Jeffrey Casserino was fast enough and when Amazon announced Kindle Fire,he decided to register some Kindle Fire -related domain names,such as amazonkindlefires.com, amazonkindlefiretablets.com, amazonkindleice.com, amznfire.com, kindleice.com, kindlesfire.com, and usedfires.com.However,one way or another Amazon managed to take ownership over these domains.No one knows if the company had to pay Jeffrey Casserino or Amazon's lawyers threatened legal action .
This is not the first time when Amazon launches a product and only then thinks to register its domain name .
