AOL,the American global Internet services and media company sued Advertise.com ,accusing them of trademark infringement.
Moreover,AOL says that Advertise.com used ABCSearch before they rebranded itself and they made the switch being aware of the fact that this domain name infringe AOL's trademark.
Advertising.com is an online advertising company based in the United States. In 1998 Scott and John Ferber named the company TeknoSurf AdWave .It was renamed in 2000 as Advertising.com.Then in 2004,on June 24 the company was acquired by AOL for $435 million dollars.
