One important marketing issue for DELL was to buy the domain name adamo.com for its sleek new
laptop,called Adamo.But they overlooked that important issue when they named the
new laptop Adamo.The domain name was owned by Tucows.
Someone representing DELL said it approached Tucwos for negotiation .They requested 750 $ monthly but DELL refused the offer,even though it seems like a small price to pay to avoid consumer confusion.
There are many companies which launch products without obtaining the domain name first.Doing that they end up buying the domain and paying much more.
