.DE, the country code Top Level domain (ccTLD) for Germany, passed the 13 million registration milestone on 18 August cementing its position for now as the ccTLD with the most registrations worldwide.
.CN (China) has been on a downward trend recently, possibly in part due to registration promotions over one year ago, has slipped back under the 13 million mark back into second position as we reported earlier this week.
